Custom setup, not a directory install
The custom Claude connection is available separately from a public connector-directory listing. Your Claude plan and organisation settings must allow custom connectors. ChatGPT has a different review status and is not covered by this setup.
Connect and test
- In Claude's custom connector settings, add HollyHR with the endpoint https://app.hollyhr.com/api/mcp. Use the technical guide below if your host has different connection controls.
- Complete HollyHR sign-in, select the intended organisation where offered and review the read-first permissions before approving.
- Ask Claude to confirm the connected workspace and available tools. Then try a narrow read-only question, such as finding a person you are allowed to access.
Control what Claude can do
Read access does not authorise record changes. Write-capable connections need Standard or higher, explicit System Admin permissions and supported confirmation controls. Do not paste API keys into a chat prompt. Review the permissions and the destination before allowing employee information to leave HollyHR.
Stop using the connection
Remove or disable the custom connector in Claude when it is no longer needed. If access needs to be revoked or you suspect exposure, contact HollyHR support for help with the grant. Removing a connector does not delete information already included in conversations.
