Is it really free? +
Genuinely — free for teams of up to 10 active people, with no card and no trial clock. You get the whole core product, not a stripped-back taster. You only pay once you grow past ten or want paid-only extras.
What does £2 get me? +
Standard is £2 per active person per month — unlimited people, a custom domain and deliberately enabled programmatic API/MCP writes. API reads and webhooks are already included on Free. There is no minimum, headcount band or cap; an 11-person team pays £22.
Can I move my data in and out? +
Both ways. Import people records from a spreadsheet and export your organisation data as CSV whenever you need it — yourself, without a support ticket.
Is my team's data safe? +
HollyHR is UK-built and GDPR-first, and your durable records are hosted in the UK/EU. PostHog product analytics and Sentry error monitoring use EU projects; some other supporting providers still process outside the UK/EU. Every provider and region is listed in our sub-processor register, and we don't claim certifications we haven't earned.
