Before you connect
Where do I connect an app?
In HollyHR, open Integrations, then Connected apps. An administrator can set up Slack, Microsoft Teams and payroll connections there. Zapier and Make connections are managed in those services using a dedicated HollyHR API key. The setup guides explain each route.
Are integrations included in my plan?
API reads and signed webhooks are available on every HollyHR plan. Creating records through Zapier, Make or the API requires Standard and permission from a System Admin. AI changes also require the supported confirmation controls. The other service may charge for its own plan or usage.
Does connecting Google or Microsoft sync our employee directory?
No. Supported sign-in and calendar subscriptions do not create accounts or synchronise your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 directory. Calendar subscriptions show approved time away without private absence reasons.
Does HollyHR run our payroll?
No. Xero Payroll UK receives approved leave after you match employees and leave types. Staffology's private preview only matches existing employees and checks those links; it does not change payroll. Other payroll systems, including Sage, use a reviewed manual export rather than automatic sync.
