Can I export our HR data myself?
Yes. HollyHR provides a self-service organisation ZIP with 26 separate CSV datasets, eligible uploaded documents and manifests explaining what was included or skipped. The files are designed for review, secure handover and mapping into another system.
It gives you a broad set of records to inspect and hand over. It is not a database backup or a one-click move to another supplier.

Questions about data export
Can I export our organisation's data myself?
Yes. A System Admin can choose Prepare secure export in Settings after a fresh security check. The action does not require a cancellation request, support ticket or separate export fee.
What is included in the organisation export?
The 26 CSV datasets cover organisation and people details, departments and addresses, employment and compensation history, emergency contacts, documents, time off, benefits, right-to-work evidence and document compliance. A bundle manifest accounts for every expected dataset.
Are uploaded documents included?
It includes eligible uploaded profile documents and native compliance files up to 25 MiB per file and 100 MiB of uploaded-file content per export. The document manifest records every considered entry as included or skipped, with the reason. Linked documents are listed, but the linked files themselves are not copied.
How is the export protected?
Treat it as highly sensitive. The archive can contain personal, address, employment, pay, bank, benefit-membership and document-compliance values, including right-to-work verification records, and protected pay and bank fields are decrypted for the ZIP. Use an approved secure transfer and storage location rather than attaching it to ordinary email.
Can another HR system import the ZIP directly?
Not automatically. The package uses separate readable CSV datasets, eligible files and manifests so it can be reviewed and mapped. The destination system decides which fields, relationships and histories it can import.
