What to know
Standard billing follows profiles marked Active. If active employees rise above the quantity already billed in the current monthly or annual period, only the additional quantity is prorated for the rest of that period.
Making a leaver inactive lowers the quantity used at the next renewal but does not create a mid-period credit.
A replacement who becomes active before renewal creates no extra charge while the team remains within the quantity already billed for that period.
At renewal, the new period starts from the active employee quantity then recorded. Any charity or non-profit discount continues to apply.
